Preparing to frame your artwork?
Protect your artwork by grabbing a backing board. Humidity and changes in temperature can cause your artwork to warp inside a frame. By mounting your artwork on a backing board beforehand you prevent your artwork from warping.
These backing boards are acid-free on both surfaces, but not in the middle, which is made of chipboard.
1/16” (4-ply) thick and sturdy enough to withstand the awesomeness of your artwork.

This product works perfectly to mount my cold wax in generic, store purchased frames. I struggled to find something supportive enough but also thin enough that the frame backs didn't bulge. Yay!

I ordered the 8x8 Mat board. It came quickly and was wrapped to insure no crinkled corners. It was exactly what I needed and looks great behind my matted paintings.

Nice for finished look
These backer boards are nice and firm and makes for a nice finished look for my matted artwork. I wouldn't put out my work for sale without these.
